2014 Nissan Qashqai teased again – and almost revealed
Nissan has been bust teasing the 2014 Qashqai ahead of its reveal later this week, and today we get the latest tease which actuallt reveals the front end. The last tease only managed to show us the new Qashqai under a dust sheet in a tunnel, but this time we get a head-on view of the Qashqai to give us a few clues about its new look. The bonnet has more flowing lines than before which continue down in to the chrome element of the grill which, although similar in shape, is more integrated than before with slimmer headlights with integrated, v-shaped running lights.
The New Jaguar XE final video tease (probably)
Jaguar has been working hard to build excitement for the new XE – effectively a replacement for the old X-Type to take on the might of Audi, Mercedes and BMW in the compact saloon sector – and we’ve had no end of teases in the last few months. But now, with the debut of the Jaguar XE in a marketing extravaganza in London on Monday (8 September) Jaguar has released what we expect will be the final tease for the new XE. What we get is a 15 second overview of Jaguar’s current cars, interspersed with snippets of views of the new XE and a sound track that seems to include the exhaust note of the new XE too.
The third concept Geely is poised to reveal in Beijing will be the the FC-1, a station wagon-based CUV. With only a single side view image to judge from, the overall styling of the FC-1 displays a much faster and sleeker look than the other two, comparing to the GT concept's retro-organic and HL MPV's modern and simple design. By targeting the CUV segment - the trendiest vehicle segment in the world today - the FC-1 concept depicts the least 'shock value' of the three concept vehicles, and it might just have the brightest and most realistic future of them all.
